Happy Birthday Honey!

July 1st is Gary's birthday and I've been trying to upload his birthday card but have had some problems (no internet!) being able to do that. I now have internet access and can upload his birthday card but I think it's a good thing that I couldn't get his card uploaded because now he can't see it until his birthday (or later)! I hope you all enjoy it - I had a great time creating this one! I got the design idea from SplitCoastStampers sketch challenge and I loved this one! I knew exactly which set I wanted to use (AND which stamp!) when I saw the sketch!

{Supplies}
Stamps: Lovely As a Tree
Paper: Soft Sky (base), Wild Wasabi, River Rock DSP, Very Vanilla
Ink: Wild Wasabi (inside sentiment), Basic Brown
Accessories: Stampin' Pastels, Stampin' Dimensionals

Introducing Stampin' Up!'s new product line - Décor Elements!

Our Décor Elements product line is an extension of the Definitely Decorative home décor line. Décor Elements is vinyl artwork for walls, mirrors, windows, or other hard, smooth surfaces.

Stampin' Up! has long advocated decorating your home using Definitely Decorative stamp sets. Décor Elements takes that same idea and uses a different medium to accomplish the same mission-making your home a beautiful representation of your style!

Through their product development, they've been able to achieve intricate designs because of their manufacturing process. Whether you want to spice up the walls of your house or frame a piece for display, Décor Elements is easy to apply, easy to love, and easy to remove.

If you would like me to e-mail you a copy of the full-color brochure let me know. Because of company policy, I can't post it here but I can send you a copy via e-mail if you request one. I can't wait to see these "live and in person"! I think I already know where I want to put some!

This product line will be available to customers on July 1, 2008.

Where have I been?

EUROPE:

The US:

This was just something cool to play with and add - you won't see this often! :~)

Father's Day Cards

For the first time ever I decided to join in the fun over at SplitCoastStampers and complete a Sketch Challenge (#180). This was the sketch that Roxy posted for us to use and I knew immediately what I was going to do....that has never happened to me before! Honestly, I've never looked at a sketch and automatically knew which stamp set I was going to use, which colors I was going to use, everything! Whoa! This was weird....and exciting so I got to work! :~)

This is my dad's card. This is the card that popped into my mind first! He's always been a hunter and I knew that I would use this set for both his card and part of his gift! I'll make his gift today - well part of it anyway. We always give him a gift card from either Home Depot or Lowes but he'll also get a set of tile coasters this year! ;~) The tile coasters will be made using the "trophy buck" (read: the big dear) from the set. That dear is just absolutely beautiful and I would love to see him in the woods (with my camera - I'm the only non-hunter but I'm NOT opposed to it)! I'll post the tiles when I finish those.

{supplies}
Stamps: Noble Deer
Cardstock: Handsome Hunter, Ruby Red, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla
Ink: VersaMark, Going Grey
Accessories: Watercolor Crayons
This is Gary's card. I don't know if you can see it or not but there is a club at the top and it says "FORE" in the top right corner. I wanted to write "GT" on the bag because he graduated from GA Tech and those are the colors I used but I was chicken....I want it to look good! I think I have some GT stickers from a scrapbook store that I might be able to use - we'll see. If it won't look good, they won't make it.

{supplies}
Stamps: Fore (retired)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Basic Black, Summer Sun, Whisper White (in other words GT colors!)
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Watercolor Crayons

I got RAK'd!

How cute is this card! An online friend sent me this card and just made my day! She recently moved from MN back down here to GA and even though she's gone from one extreme to the other (they got snow while we were in the 90's this week!) she's SO glad to be back home! I think I need to get busy and send a RAK back! ;~) Hope you enjoy seeing her card as much as I enjoyed receiving it!

{supplies used}

Stamps: Bugs & Kisses
Cardstock: Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi & Brilliant Blue
Accessories: Jersey Shore Designer Series Paper, Scallop Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, Wild Wasabi Double-Stitched Ribbon

eScape Stationary Box!

The box you're looking at is not the exact one that you'll be creating on the 22nd (we'll be using different Designer Paper and the Circle of Friendship stamp set from the eScape Bundle). With this stationary box you'll be ready to send a card to a friend without having to look for their address, a pen, a postage stamp....or a card! Everything you need is in one place - inside the box! It also includes tags and love notes too. You're going to love this and it's so easy to create you'll want to start making some for gifts to give to your family and friends!

Too stinkin' cute!!

These fudgesicle cards are just too cute!! I was going to make invitations with them but the stamp set I wanted to use hasn't arrived yet so I left the front blank and stamped the inside with a saying instead. Besides, how many times have you seen something on the front of your fudgesicle? Once I get my Tart & Tangy stamp set, I'll be making up some "flavored" popsicles with some fruit on the outside! :~)

This is Brittany's favorite card created with Fresh Cuts! She said that she loves the simplicity of it and the black just makes the whole thing "pop" to her. I just love that girl! :~)

I've been playing!

In between running Kimberly to all her practices I've actually been able to put ink to cardstock and create!!

The first card is really weird!! It's weird because the flower that looks "pinkish" is actually green! Seriously, it's Wild Wasabi but in the scan it comes out a pink/red color and nothing I did would change the color to it's actual color so you'll just have to come to one of my eScape Stamp-A-Stacks on the 25th to see that it really is green! LOL!

Of course you can't just stick it in an envelope and mail it, it MUST be presented in a hand-stamped card in their school colors! Two schools have the same colors but I couldn't make two identical cards - OK, I could but I didn't want to. ;c)
